edge of town, some baby parrots were selling
fresas (strawberries) from the tops of some
tree stumps. Granma asked Simeon if they could
stop and get some. Then G had a horrid thought!
She gasped to Simeon: "We don’t have any
money! How are we gonna' buy anything?" "Oh
that’s ok" said Felipe. "You just
get what you want and they will write it down
and send the bill to Simeon here!" "Oh,
can we, can we?" asked G. "Si, comono,
abuelita" said Simeon bowing his head
to her. (yes, of course, Granma) He no longer
