THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WELL

The taxis
were pulled by mountain goats with curly horns
around their faces. These were obviously not
talking animals. They had to take two taxis
since there were so many penguins along; they
were 15 of them in all, plus da Muff. Simeon,
F & F, G & J, the four flamingoes and
da Muff got in one taxi, driven by a Meower,
as they were called. The penguins rode in a
