Then came Ferminda and Fatima who acted liked they were cowgirls from home on the range. They walked right up and petted the horses noses. Then came Frances, Florine and Fresa. Julio really liked Fresa. She was quite a cute little parrot, all fluffy and sweet. He asked her if she wanted to sit on Pepper. “Oh, puedo?” (can I?) she Spanglished. He lifted her up and there she sat. Pepper was quite the good girl, not ever having had a feathery thing on her back before. Mober was a little jealous and stuck her head over into Pepper’s stall and took a nip at the FF. She fell off, but it wasn’t too far to the soft straw below. Luckily she missed the mine fields of poop here and there. Then Hoo asked if anyone else wanted a lift up. No one did. But Fresa thanked him and said it was the thrill de su vida(of her lifetime).
