Don’t you have a dictionary? Ok, it means, The Pink Bird. It was a splendid ship and Julio was taken in by it. It was taller than Granma’s barn … so .. about like as tall as a big crane sitting on the back of a flatbed truck. It’s sails went from white, to pale pink, to darker pink and then to a deep pink and orange in the back. I know nothing about ships so let’s just say it was made of polished cherry-like wood and on the front and back had golden pink bird head ornaments. The shiny wooden sides of the ship were inlaid with pinkish orange and pearly white wings.
